Honeymoon fund

Honeymoon fund registry: guests gift the moments, you receive the money

Turn your trip into gifts: flights, a sunset dinner, a snorkeling day. Guests pick a moment to give, and the money goes straight to you to spend as you plan.

Experiences, not envelopes

Each gift has a name and a photo, so guests know they are giving you a real moment.

Shares for the big stuff

Split the flights or the hotel into shares so everyone can be part of it.

No fees on gifts

You pay once to publish. Every contribution reaches you in full.

Flexible by design

The money is yours: if plans change, you're never stuck with store credit.

How a honeymoon fund works

A honeymoon fund is a registry made of pieces of your trip. Instead of one "contribute to our honeymoon" button, you list the moments — "Two nights in Santorini", "Cooking class in Florence", "Airport lounge before the long flight" — each with a price or split into shares.

Guests choose the moment they want to give and pay you directly with Venmo, Zelle, PayPal or a bank transfer. The money is yours from the first second, so you can book whenever the deal is right.

Is a honeymoon fund tacky?

It is one of the most common registries today. What keeps it gracious is specificity and choice: guests like knowing they paid for your first dinner as a married couple, and they like being able to pick a $40 gift or a $400 one.

Keep a few traditional gifts if your families expect them, write a short, warm line about the trip, and send a photo from the moment they gifted when you get back — that is the thank-you guests remember.

Add the accounts you already use — Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, PayPal and more. Up to six at once.

  3. Step 3

Questions

What if we change our honeymoon plans?

The money is already in your account, so you can spend it on the trip you end up taking. Many couples simply let guests know where they went when they send thank-you notes.

Does Presentou take a cut of the gifts?

No. Guests send money straight to your own Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Cash App or bank account. Presentou never holds the money and charges no fee on gifts — you pay a one-time $19 to publish your registry for 12 months.

Do my guests need an account?

No. Guests open your link, pick a gift, leave a message and pay with the app they already use. No sign-up, no password.

How do I know who sent what?

When a guest says they paid, you get an email and a notification with their name, the gift and the amount. You check your account and confirm with one tap — and you have everything you need for thank-you notes.

Can I build the registry before paying?

Yes. Creating your registry, adding gifts and designing your site is free. You only pay when you're ready to share it with guests.
